'The Hideaway' Accommodation
Welcome to ‘The Hideaway’ at Thompson Beach, a unique experience that integrates nature and nurture:
The Hideaway is located across the road from Thompson Beach, in the Thompson Beach coastal settlement of Adelaide Plains, situated along the eastern coastline of the Gulf of St Vincent, 56 kms north of Adelaide city centre, about 45 minutes drive. Nestled in the heart of the Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary National Park (Winaityinaityi Pangkara).
With clear waters & tidal flats, it is a magnificent, peaceful stroll along the shoreline where you can unwind and simply stop. At the end of the day, you may be treated to one of the many spectacular sunsets provided to us along the Samphire Coast.
'The Hideaway' provides accommodation for singles & couples, there is a queen bed and a king single (with a 2nd King single available on request). It is a brand-new purpose-built space, fully self-contained with a beautiful outdoor deck. Enjoy all the creature comforts at your own pace, wifi and smart TV is also available. Linen is supplied.
To complement this untouched space, 'The Hideaway' is an environmentally conscious accommodation, we request a respectful approach to water and power use.
Thompson’s Beach is serviced by the small township of Dublin, 10kms back towards Port Wakefield along Ruskin Rd. Grocery items are available, please check opening times. Coffee and tea are provided; however, you must bring all your food and beverage provisions as services are very limited.
'The Hideaway' pricing is:
- 1 adult: $160 per night
- 2 adults: $180 per night
- Additional adults: $30 extra per adult per night.
‘Friends of Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary, FAIBS’ are welcomed at a reduced rate:
- 1 adult: $140 per night
- 2 adults: $160 per night
- Additional adults: $30 extra per adult per night.
